The Big Day

With space for up to 300 guests you’re able to create an event that’s perfect for you and your guests, no matter the size.

Located in the heart of Central Texas, it’s the perfect destination for your wedding ceremony, rehearsal dinner and reception. The lovely outdoor wedding venue features an arbor overlooking sunsets across the river valley below.

Our venue hosts the following areas for your big day.

Thistle Hall

Thistle Hall Barn can accommodate indoor weddings and receptions for up to 225 guests. Barn wood walls have a warm Texas Hill Country feel and can be decorated to bring a rustic elegance to your reception.

Caterers have a warming kitchen. The groom’s dressing area is also in the barn.

Our event barn is great for weddings, receptions, dances, and parties. At night, with music and good food flowing, there’s a get-away-from-it-all, Texas Hill Country feel.

Peachick Cabin

Every girl dreams of her wedding day, and Thistle Hall can make your dreams come true. The executives of Thistle Hall can take care of every detail for you on your big day, and help arrange any vision you may have.

Peachick Bridal House, located on the ranch, is the perfect place to prepare and relax before the ceremony. This delightful spot includes lighted, oversized mirrors to ease preparing for your grand entrance. It has a half bath as well. Our screened back porch includes a few rocking chairs, and a nice couch to allow you time to enjoy the scenery, while the front porch gives you a great view of our peacocks and beautiful venue.

The Arbor

The ceremony arbor overlooks the wide green pasture. Your vows will be made with age-old Oak trees in the background. The pasture is also home to our Longhorn family. We can ring a bell and they will come running to watch your marriage and delight your guests.

Thistle Hall Tavern

Our outdoor stone fireplace and seating area at Thistle Hall Tavern is a great place to relax and enjoy the spectacular sunsets.

Bold excitement awaits your reception guests as the rustic wedding venue comes to life. The warmth of the fire is inviting in winter, and the covered outdoor area brings shade from the Texas summer sun. The bar is located next to the fireplace and allows for a different setting from the barn wedding with ample seating so your guests can either be celebrating in the reception barn or be enjoying a cold one in the outdoors under Hill Country stars.
